His lawyers are saying that it was part of the agreement when he dropped the appeal. The NFL hasn't decided, and the Titans aren't saying anything positive...

It would be fun to see him at camp, but he might be a distraction.

I have mixed emotions about this. I'm still not convinced that he will have a place on the team after his serves his time.

I think if we do indeed have thoughts of him eventually returning to team, he needs to be there. If we are just stringing him along and have no intentions of him being back on the team, he shouldnt be there

i think he should be allowed to be in camp. for some odd reason tank johnson would have been allowed in camp and could have played in the preseason, but pacman can not.

NFL May Allow Pacman at Camp

SUMMARY: The agent representing CB Pacman Jones says his client may be allowed to participate in training camp which begins July 27 as part of withdrawing his appeal on a season-long suspension from NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell. Gene Upshaw, executive director of the NFL Players Association, also feels Jones will allowed to take part in training camp workouts. But the NFL denies a decision has been made. "[Training camp] is one part that hasn't been glued down yet," the league source said. The Titans have not officially commented on Jones being on the practice field during camp. When Jones was suspended on April 10, Goodell specifically said that the player "may not participate in any practices or workouts during his suspension ... beginning June 1, he is permitted to spend one a day a week at he team's facility for conditioning, film study and other activities."

at least he isnt gonna get worse, from practicing in camp, and working out in the joint, he should come back full strength...

Like I said above, if we want to keep him, we need to make sure he doesn't rust too much this year. Its almost a given that he will not be quite as good next time he plays than he was last year. Hopefully, training camp would mitigate some of that rust.

It takes a long time, even for world class athletes to get into football shape, for the muscles to have that memory effect that makes elite players good.
