SUMMARY: When asked about the season-long ban handed to him yesterday by NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell, Pacman Jones replied, "I don't really have anything to say right now. I just want to make sure I say the right things and not anything out of frustration. I am just going to chill out a few days." It is unclear if Jones will appeal the suspension as his attorneys, Manny Arora and Worrick Robinson, have not released a statement. Arora has said he would not allow the NFL to make an example of Jones with a season-long suspension. The NFL Players Association could become involved if Jones wishes to appeal but had not been contacted as of yet. "As of today, he has not informed us of his desire to appeal the suspension," NFLPA spokesman Carl Francis said. "That could change, however."

I'll bet he doesn't fight it. The commish has probably, quietly, warned him against it.

This from a man who would not let murder keep his client out of the NFL.
    That is to be expected.

I think the general public knows enough is enough. A line gets drawn here. No more Ray Lewis breaks.

If the "lawyer" of Adam Jones appeals, then I really hope they further the example by banning him for life.

Also, it is better for the team that he serve out the whole year.
That way they get an extra contract year.

    slackmaster...

ban him for life for appealing? that is just stupid...why? why doesn't Pac have the right to appeal? why should appealing increase the suspension to life?

Does Pacman have anything to lose if he appeals?

Could his situation get any worse if he appeals? Because if not, I don't see why he wouldn't.

Not really. It can only get worse if he violates the requirements, or if the Georgia or Vegas things stick.

Credibility, after saying on a national tv interview that he would take whatever the league gave him like a man and hoped to get back as soon as possible.

Manny didn't represent Ray Lewis. You're probably thinking of his partner, Ed Garland.
