I saw it coming, and he wasn't going anywhere with the team anyways. he hasn't won a playoff game w/ Dallas for crying out loud.

You wonder how much the TO factor played into his decision. He's not as young as he was when he had to put up with LT, and even though TO is a great player, he's nowhere near what LT was. That guy totally dominated games and changed the way the NFL game was played, which made putting up with his personal demons more worthwhile. I suspect Parcells respected LT at the end of the day, and I doubt seriously he feels that way about TO.

I'm going to miss his pressers -- MOST entertaining. But he's earned the right not to have to deal with the likes of Jones and Owens.

Will Jones try to work out a trade for Fisher?

I suppose it's possible, but I'm not even sure the Cowboys job is better than the Titans job right now. I suspect Bud is going to be pretty generous to Fisher in the new contract, and he genuinely seems to like it here and seemed to have fun coaching this year's team. All in all, I just don't see Fisher being anxious to get out unless Bud low balls him. Even then, as we know, Fisher is under contract for next year even if he doesn't get the extension he's seeking. So, if Bud wants him here next year, here he'll be.
