    Not sure but are you saying running more allows you to throw in a long bomb? Cause that's not necessarily true. You can't just run run then expect a crisp pass that goes for 40+. IMO it's much easier to pass and pass and pass to get the D to back off allowing a 10-yard run.

    Running the ball to set up play action works aganist most defenses.It can get you in the playoffs.The problem is when you face a N.E. patriot type team who just scores a ton of points.They don't care if they run at all but will attack every weakness in the pass game and have the qb to do it.You have to have a diverse offense that is able to play any style of game to be overall successful
