If we could use one player from the past for this upcoming season based on their performance over one season, which one would it be?

    2003 Derrick Mason - 95 catches 1,303 yards and 8 TDs
    2003 Steve McNair - 250/400 62.5 completion % 3,215 Yds 24 TDs 7 INT

The 2003 Steve McNair. Easy because QB is our only unknown right now. Our defense has skill, we can win now with them.

Did you leave off Eddie George's 1,509-yard season where he too had 14TD's, just because C.J. did a bit better? Pacman's efforts did nothing for us, so that doesn't help us much.

Was thinking about leaving Steve out, because I know he will get the nod by a long shot.

He should. His efforts won us games, and got us into the postseason. Today is also the anniversary of his death, so people will be a little more in favor of voting him in.

I figured CJ2K as no brainer.
That kind of production means the OL is playing solid football.
That kind of production makes life easier for any one under center.

Mcnair, I've forgotten what seeing a season long 3000 yard 62% completion with better than 2 to 1 td to int ratio looks like.

Haynesworth would be my 2nd pick altho even those stats don't tell the whole story.

Pacman don't belong on the list

McNair, but I will always be biased towards him.

I agree that Pac Man should not be on the list.

I understand where you guys are coming from in leaving Pacman off the list, but you have to admit that he was fun to watch in 06.
