I was hoping they would put a murder warrant for his arrest, so it could take up the sports headlines instead of the team in Miami.

    Hernandez should be fine.

NFL players have a pretty good track record of getting away with murder.

After he is found not guilty, just needs to change his number and say he is a new player with a new outlook on life. Then just acts like he has lost his f**king mind, give speeches that border on nonsense, and master the crazy eyes. Once he does that, people will be too scared to ever ask him about it again and it will be forgotten within a few years.

I call this the Ray Lewis-Kobe Bryant Plan for getting away with crimes of varying degrees.

Then he'll have a good football year and fans will deem him "a hero" like Michael Vick. Disgusting.

    Your reading comprehension sucks.

The point wasn't comparing killing dogs and humans, it was how Vick did a terrible thing and was seen as "a hero" simply because he threw touchdown passes. If Vick did the same thing (speaking against animal cruelty etc) after he was released from prison but didn't beat out Kolb for the starting job, no one would have given a sh*t.

50% of his completions, or 10% of his pass attempts. However you want to look at it.

Hernandez will probably get cut... then he'll need to get picked up by Baltimore. They've proven they have no problem with anything like this.

I mean, my god... this sounds nearly identical to Ray Lewis' deal from years ago!

He needs to give Ray a call to find out how to avoid this... become loved and so on... even though you are a criminal and was completely involved in someone's murder.

Any truth to the rumor that Gonk's back surgery was to remove a bullet after Hernandez shot him?

I know it's an old joke, but it still makes me laugh. How do you turn a tight end into a wide receiver....
