    He'd be a rotational DE in our 3-4 Defense. Competing with Jones and/or backing up Casey. With three years left on his rookie contract it would be crazy not to at least give him a test drive since it costs us nothing.

    You don't rate interior defensive lineman by number of tackles.

    Ok... I don't see how 2 sack in 11 games is "solid when healthy".

    and yes... you do. You rate interior D-line by their ability to stop the run, not by sacks. You want a DT that demands double teams to free up your edge rushers on passing downs. You're telling me he's the second best pass rusher in the league and only managed two sacks? He's probably getting a lot of "pressure" because the offense doesn't need to block him.
