I said no, not because it isn't deserved though. See, everyone even remotely connected with this travesty will either be dead, in prison, fired, or some combination of the three before long. Imposing the death penalty merely punishes the current players, and local business owners who depend on football saturdays to make a living. Not to mention all the other sports that football supports. Ban them from T.V. for five years, reduce scholorships, five year bowl ban. Let them play, but let them play in obscurity.
Did USCs sanctions effect Reggie Bush? No. If a program/college cheats or in this case allowing criminal activity to continue then the program gets punished. Hopefully they'll allow players to transfer for free but I doubt it.
I think this ploy of throwing JP under the bus just might be enough of a sideshow too save that PoS b10 program. Hope not because they deserve everything they get and then more.
no way that they get the death penalty.. they will get the next closet thing to it tho. The kids shouldn't get punished, i hope they can transfer and play somewhere else immediately if they choose.
Well, it's pretty damn harsh. As close to a death penalty as you'll see these days. Munchak made the right decision.
