PEYTON over MARIO

Bud Adams is going to sign Joe Montana?

 

He's not THAT bad.

 

So many things wrong with this idea I dont even know where to start...
I sure as hell wouldnt want him for the Texans,for the same reasons.

OK maybe not yet. But he is getting kinda old. The problem with Bud is once he gets his mind made up about something he'll keep pushing and to hell with what the coaching staff says.
I will admit that it would sell tickets,but is that whats best for the team?
I dont think so. Peyton is going to be a tough fit on any team in the NFL.
He'll want to run the offense like he always has and there aren't to many coach's out there who will go for that.

The only place Peyton would fit is a team that is going nowhere and they are willing to give him free rein to do what he wants. The problem is Peyton wants to go to a playoff caliber team. And what coach of a playoff team is going to be willing to give up control?

 

If I were a Titan fan,i'd want Mario over Peyton all day.Mario would be a plug and play type player. Peyton would change your O so much I dont see it working.
On top of that Mario is in his prime ....Peyton,not so much.
That being said,I hope to hell the Texans can manage to keep Mario.

We don't need a QB. Hasselbeck and locker are a great fit.
We also don't need the millstone around our neck that Manning's cap hit will be.
