Great article. I am pumped to see how the rookies look this year and think the team will really surprise people this season.

Awesome read. Love both Casey & Klug! The D is young & talented indeed. Ayers, Mccarthy, Verner & Mccourty. If we can get something out of Morgan, Wimbley and Hawkins this year, we can have a good defense!

 

Yes. Everyone else was against drafting Casey...

 

Invariably, everyone has their guys that was on their college team, or they watched in college, or wowed them at the combine, and they get upset when the team doesn't see things the same way. I do it, too. A lot of people on here did it with Casey.

I remember saying I liked the pick and Deuce saying the same thing. We were on the same page with Ayers, too. That always makes me a bit nervous.

I'm warming up to Ayers, but he is overhyped on this forum.

 

I honestly don't remember anyone, let alone a majority hating the Casey pick.

 

Who is this guy? Why didn't we take my cousin Earl who benches 550? ZOMG another Pac-10 pick? I think I could pick better than these guys. Blah, blah, blah...

Stuff like that... I don't think anyone specifically hated Casey, they just wanted someone else, which is pretty normal.

 

I don't believe Ayers has been over hyped. I think everyone agrees he played like a typical second round pick last year. Nice flashes but disappeared at times.
