Is stating that he's better than Sharpe really all that irrational? And all I said was that he's a great route runner and has separation quickness. That seems like a completely rational statement.

 

I think its absurd to say Taylor is already better than Sharpe. Is that really the narrative going on here?

 

His 3 come speed rarely shows on tape tho as a small area quickness type attribute. He definitely lived in the intermediate to deep areas in college.

And while Tajae has crisper routes... he COULDNT ****ING SEPERATE. So many contested catches that he couldn't come down with. His whole 93 yards yac tends to paint that picture well.

 

3 cone drill corresponds with start/stop and change of direction ability. It's not a measurement of who will make the best SC highlights with the ball in their hands, nor should a player be punished because they ran an actual route tree as opposed to a HS dink and dunk offense, and had better stats as a result.

Looks like his short area quickness is alright here:

 

Don't forget you cut where he fell down immediately after on the last clip.

Regardless, he flashed primarily when attacking deep.

And you forgot to acknowledge that he's put up over 100 yards against Alabama, LSU, and Vandy in his matchups against them. Yet people are complaining about tripping. It says a lot about these SEC teams that you think so highly of if a guy from the C USA can just stumble around and gain 100 yards.
