Yea he will normally play more than most. But even sometimes when he DOES play, he's hurting the team. I watch pretty much every steelers game.

Though I fully agree, he's a rough sob and he brings a certain winning mentality to that team. You can't knock 3 SB appearances.

They dont have as many great weapons as ppl think down field! Davis and Crabtree are both decent but after that, nothing really stands out. You will see teams slow him down this year big time guarantee it! I would play more zone than anything with zone blitzes thrown in to confuse him! The only time he is a real threat to run is when teams are playing man and their secondary's backs are turned!

I'm familiar with Bell, I wanted us to draft him that's why I said he has the most potential. However, he ran a 4.6 and AP ran a 4.3, huge difference. Even if Bell had AP's power and vision which I'm not sure he does, it's that speed dimension that makes AP so deadly. A better pro comparison for Bell would be a guy the Steelers should be familiar with; Rashad Mendenhall. I believe they have a similar running style but Mendenhall is much faster. From a pure measurable stand point he's identical to Jonathan Dwyer, another Steeler. I doubt Bell does much to separate himself from the guys who are already there mainly because they all bring similar things to the table.

Yeah forgot about him. Though still teams will make him beat them from the pocket! If he can do that, then he will be the complete package.

He can throw from the pocket. But he has seen much easier zone packages than tight man coverage. I think that's the main difference, he does have good accuracy.

They also added Quinton Patton but you are right their receiving corps was extremely average last season. The richer just get richer.

    Texans

Their offensive philosophy is so simple. This is why they struggle in the playoffs. Anytime you get them into 3rd and long you should have the upper hand (Cotton swab - nickname for Schaub). Cotton Swab is atrocious when the success of the team is on his shoulders.

TYPICAL OFFENSIVE SERIES FOR THE TEXANS
1st down - run. If they gain 4-6 yards on first down, they will follow with this.
2nd down - pass. Playaction (98% of the time).
3rd down - if they did not pickup the first down on the playaction, then they go into shotgun. This is where Schaub is not comfortable. The result, the majority of the time is 3 and out.

Key to stopping their zone blocking scheme: covering up the center with a physical defensive tackle that can get a push (Sammie Hill). This prevents the cut-back lane.

They run the same scheme we ran in high school. The only way this works is if you are superior in talent to the teams you are playing against. They are not.

Have faith Titan fans the division is up for grabs.
