Play vince now

Playing Vince as a solution is simply grasping at straws. How many times do we need to see him do the same thing? Let's get to 0-5 before we trash the entire season.

 

I get everyone's concerns and lack of optimism with Vince. But there's no reason he shouldn't start WK 4 IMO. Love Vince or hate him, you gotta admit Collins isn't making the plays when they count. You can point to receiver drops, fumbles, bad defensive play, etc. But the bottom line is he's had the ball in his hands with a chance to tie or win our last FOUR games and has failed each and every time. And we have so much money invested in VY we really need to give him another chance so we will know where we stand with him. And I'd prefer Fisher not wait until the season is completely lost before giving Vince that opportunity.
Best case scenario: VY gives the team a much needed spark, we start winning some games and maybe sneak into the playoffs.
Worst case scenario: He plays horribly and we continue to lose games... but at least we know for sure he's not our guy and can start looking elsewhere in the offseason.

 

just cause he did something in high school doesn't mean he can make the transistion with it to the nfl . the nfl is on a totally different level then high school football. like i said its totally different.

Just wait til after the bye week. Next 3 games are @Jags,Indy,@Pats. If we are 1-5 at that point, and Collins plays equal or worse than these first 3 games, then we'd be silly not to play Vince.

If we are 1-4, Vince ought to at least get a series against the Pats.

Even the haters should want to see Vince play if the season is lost. Might as well prove if he can or can't cut it so we'll know whether or not to target QB in the draft.


(Even with our upgraded WRs compared to last season, overall our WR core is still not good. That's a big problem too.)

 

We will def be 0-6 or 1-6 after the bye.

Only team we have a shot at beating is the jags.

No Way our secondary stands a shot at the Colts and pats.
