Wow! You are incredibly wrong about this kid. he'll get drafted before we pick. Much less in the first round. Geno Smith is better right now than Tannehill will ever be.

    He's throwing against air.

Jake Locker completed 38/40 passes at his pro day.

Geno will not be a very good NFL qb IMO, but ESPN can't have a draft without a superstar QB so they have to hype up some one.

But someone will surely take him in the 1st (hell, Tebow went in the 1st rd, so someone will pull the trigger)

Our whole team has sucked...people are making it sound like it's all Locker's fault. It was the dudes first full season as a starter and he was surrounded by one of the worst teams in the league.

Locker did have a part to play in it tho.

Rewatched the lions game today, we need to run the ball around him and he will look much better. We tried just cutting the reins with him last year and the high variance style created problems for the young QB.

Also been watching jets games. Greene is gonna blow it up for us if he runs like he did for them. Dude just pushes hard. It's a really fresh running style that we need. That added to the retooled o line and a new o coordinator, we setting locker up to succeed with a low variance, high run percentage and easy quick throws to move the chains.

This team is gonna play smash mouth football.

Smith is unimpressive and likely will have trouble running a pro offense, like most QB's who run the spread offense in college.

If we take a QB in the draft, I hope we take Landry Jones/Zac Dysert/Matt Scott in the 5th round.
