Well, all the impact we need is what has and will be influenced on this team. What does the weather look like for our game?

I'd much rather the Titans win and then watch the 49'ers fold on us then to not have won the game at all. That beats the crap out of losing in the first place.

During the game we have to win that parlay. KC over JAX ; PIT over CIN.

I assume they will be played 12 cst, the same time the Titans are playing the Patriots. If we win this game we get could get seperation from Jacksonville. We lose the tie breaker with them. It wouldn't even be close. That means that this game could represent being second in the AFC South, 49ers be damned! :thumb:

How bad should KC feel right now, weve got a wild card locked up if we even go 1 under 500 with him at the wheel

For the Titans to beat the Patriots and finish the season on a winning streak of this magnitude is unbelievably big.

I like the idea of the playoffs, but I am not against the idea of Vince sitting at home all season with a playoff-wanting fire burning in his belly.

A loss to the Pats would be bad, though.

Rain early that morning, then clearing. Mid 50's around kickoff.

Doubt that can happen.....but I was thinking today, how much he must affect other teams we are playing. You know down deep some are thinking we cannot beat this guy. Kind of a mental victory before we even take the field.

I propose that the wild card slots not be confined to conference
all wild card slots are available to the non division winners with the best remaining records

it's kind of a joke to give a playoff spot to a team that doesn't even have a winning record

Titans 100 to 1- better than the 250 to 1 I saw in a sportsbook today

Jags 75 to 1 - I would not rate their chances better than ours
Packers 75 to 1 and Giants 50 to 1- I guess being in the NFC their chances of even getting to the SB are better

I can see us beating the watered down version of the Pats, Pukesburgh beating Cincy & KC beating the Jags. The game the scares me is SF @ Denver. The good part is several of these games are at the same time so all we need to concentrate on is the Pats.

Since this win doesn't mean anything to the Pats in that it won't improve their position in the playoffs, specuation is they pull the starters in the 2nd quarter and rest them.
