Well here is my first official mock of the off season, I'm sure I will change it many times but here goes...

I really feel we will move this pick, so I came up with what I think could be a realistic trade scenario. Going forward I'm going to just stick with the picks we do have, but since this is my first mock what the hell?

The 11th pick puts us in a good position to trade down, and I feel it's very likely we get an offer. I just know a good QB will slip out of the top 10, and I can see a team like Arizona trading up to snatch him. Why Arizona? Carson Palmer will be an URFA in 2015 and he'll also be close to 36 years old, he's clearly not the long term solution. Taking a top QB now allows Arizona to bring him along fairly slowly, essentially red-shirting him if need be. Also when a team chooses to exercise the 5th year option on a top 10 pick, that player must be paid by averaging the top three players at his position. Any pick 11-32, in that same scenario, gets paid on the average of the 3rd-25th highest paid players at his position. That could be a savings of millions on a 2nd contract, especially when you're talking quarterbacks. I chose Arizona in this instance but I think this could be any team realistically, the 11th pick is just a great pick to trade into.

    Free agents:

    Bernard Pollard
    Ropati Pitoitua
    Karlos Dansby, MLB Arizona
    Paul Soliai, NT, Miami

    Cuts:

    David Stewart
    Kameron Wimbley
    Rob Bironas
    Moise Fokou

    Key Loss:

    Alterruan Verner
