Hate to tell you- but most likely under a new coach another year will toil away.


Difference is- this team is actually moving toward something.

 

Moving towards something like what? Not getting blown out? That's not the goal.

Munchak and Locker in 2014 means another year of 6-10. And make no mistake about it, if Munchak is here next year Locker will be the unquestioned starter.

Please. Yeah, maybe in a couple more years, he will actually break .500. Maybe a year or two after that, he will sneak into the playoffs as a six seed and get sodomized in the wildcard round.

Of course, by then, it will be the LA Titans, as LP field would have been empty for three years.

Maybe next year, he'll actually be aware of who among his starters is actually playing. Maybe next year, his crap tastic, double HOF coached, expensive as hell revolving door of an offensive line will be worth a damn. Maybe next year, someone figures out how to stop the damn run.

Of course, if he's coaching, I'll miss all that, as I won't be watching. Judging from the stands lately, neither will many other people.

People aren't watching, because the team isn't winning. Not because Munchak is coaching.

Munchak is horrible, has been since before day-1. Time to send him down the river.

 

Not going for the win with ten seconds left in the game and the ball at the one is the most damning thing against Munchak in my mind. You've spent the last three years talking about being a physical team that can get the tough yards. You've spent draft picks, free agency money and god knows how much lip service to become this powerful, smash mouth football team. A top-ten pick on Warmack, $48 million on Levitre. another $10 million on Shonn Greene for this exact situation and you kick the extra point when all you need is one yard.

The failure to create an established identity on this team has cost it games. But we're building something guys, just be patient.
