So I've been looking for something new to start watching on Netflix, so I started watching Prison Break, and I wanted to see if anyone else has seen it and what their general opinion of it was? I am only on episode 13 on season 1, so no spoilers! So far I am really enjoying it, the characters are perfect for their roles. The creative thinking that Scofield uses to solve all of the problems and situations is probably what has been keeping my interest so far. If you haven't seen it, it's worth watching to find out if it catches your interest.
I loved the first season and the second season was pretty good also. It just started to drag from season 3 on though, still havent made it all the way through 4 yet
Should have been a mini-series like originally planned. The 3rd season was so atrocious that you forget how good the show once was.
First season - solid network TV, probably better than the likes of 24 etc. All other seasons where chum. Just awful. Kinda like Jericho..
1st and second season were some of my favorite moments in TV history. Season 3 immediately goes to crap. I stumbled my way through season 3, and a little of season four, and called it quits. It gets unbearable. I just looked up the ending on IMDB so I found out what happens to all the characters at the end. They ran out of ideas, plain and simple. This would have made for a killer movie or two. Do yourself a favor and stop after season 2. The ride stops there. Fox was right, rejecting the show at first. It isn't a story that is sustainable. You can't have a 10 year run of a show about 5 guys trying to escape prison. Also, The main character (scofield) is like Zoolander. He's got that one look. that concerned look. It gets really old by the 3rd season. Ya, that look.
I got tired of that look around episode 10 of Season 1. It's just annoying, as if he is "trying too hard" to make sure he looks like that every time he talks.
haha. It's amazing that he and his brother in the show are actually british in real life, but they have perfected the American accent. I wonder if there are Americans who can do the british accent so well that Brits are fooled.
