Miller lead the league from OLB pressures. Ayers could def play that role.

I'd like to see stats about our run stopping. I think this is what we really need to improve. Seemed to me that we allowed teams to get in 2nd and 3rd and short situations a bunch because of our inability to stop the run with our front 7 and the piss poor play of our safeties.

I think a stud NT/DT type is what we need.

Ayers is the perfect 3-4 OLber and Brown has shown he knows how to rush the Qb as well. We have the personnel to run more 3-4 looks.

What about missed tackles? - From my point of view, that was the ongoing cause throughout the season. Way too many missed tackles, defenders just getting their arms around a player with out bringing him down or simply jump right past - bad angles perhaps (Greys defense)?

Those 22 missed tackles lead the nfl for safeties. And for PFFs overall grade he was bottom three in the league with a (-17.2)

Offensive line PFF grades. Zero is the average grade.

Roos - overall (27.8) run block (2.7) pass block (23.6)

Stewart - overall (11.3) run block (0.9) pass block (13.8)

Velasco - overall (13.0). Run block (8.1) pass block (5.6)

Those are our only positive grade O Linemen. Velasco grading out on the positive is actually nice to see. I'd like to know which games he played center for us and which he played guard tho. I can't find that but if someone knows.

Regardless those numbers suggest that we need two guards. Velasco is solid at C and our tackles are both in the upper echelon of the league.

    Free agent target?

Andy Levitre - overall (17.3) pass block (16.2) run block (-0.7)
