    I'll continue the Hasselbeck vs Locker debate by introducing this check list.

    Simply run through the list, check off which ones Locker has mastered, and which Hasselbeck has mastered. At the end of doing this, you should know who gives us the best chance to win.

    This isn't about who's better than who, it's about which QB gives us the most options.

    Great list, and I still have Locker as the better option. I have nothing against MH. I just want Jake to lead this team from the jump, we've seen what MH can do and 8-8 ain't good enough for me. Jake might be able to give us 10+ wins or cost us 10+ losses but we will only find out by letting him play.

    I came up with a tie. In my mind Jake wins the tie, because he has a higher celing and I see Hasselbeck declining. I don't see us winning many Games with Hass. I think it's the perfect time to see what Jake has in him.

    Observations:

    Aside from footwork/mechanics, most of Locker's comparative disadvantages are skills that can only come through game experience.

    Hasselbeck never had the physical tools that Locker is blessed with.


    Ideal Solution:

    Vulcan mind meld from Matt to Jake.


    Alternative solution:

    To be determined during training camp.

    Play Action Skills: Locker +10 - Locker is more of a threat since he could also take off

    Rollouts: Locker +10
    Footwork: Hasselbeck +1
    Reading skills: Hasselbeck +10
    Quick Release: Tie
    Accuracy: Hasselbeck +5 - kinda iffy on whether it should be a 10 or a 5.. but locker is coming along..
