He was an all-american as a junior, top safety, didn't have a good senior year nor grade well once the combine dissection began

Anybody see his 40 run? Mike Mayock was making fun of him for high-steppin. He looked a bit tard.

Seems clear this dude was badly over-rated by some draft pundits

Not really. He wasn't rated highly at all.
He will definitely be back in the NFL next season if not sooner. They haven't been forthcoming about the severity of the foot injury.
He was a jekyl and hyde guy. The best S two years ago, and last year was average.
IDK this site but they had him top 10 pick before the season Film Study: Ole Miss' Cody Prewitt is the premier safety in the country
All-american is nothing to shake a stick at.
I've read some saw him as a MLB or SS and he'd be out of place at FS because he doesn't adjust well and has more of a mean side to his game. Titans played him at both.
He's 6-2 and by all accounts can cover well. Pathetically the NFL CBs are not that tall while the average NFL WR seems to keep getting taller. Short of the obvious PI penalties, I'd like to see a CB that likes to hit. Most young CBs stink at tackling and ya wonder how they got through college.
Anyhow, he'll be back in the NFL soon enough
