It it absolutely absurd not to put Adrian Peterson at 1 without question and in a league of his own after 10 weeks.

First in rushing, first in average with a ridiculous 5.8 yards a carry as well as 13 runs already of 20 plus yards, second in first downs.

I guarantee every defender would rather face CJ than AP.

CJ's definitely in the top 5 though.

Lets see how the season plays out. CJ is a beast. Hence the name. AP just got out to a faster start this season.

Right now, I think defenders would rather not play either! Since the Titans got the running game going, CJ has put up slightly better numbers than Peterson actually. Yes, Peterson is number one now though.

AP needs 145 yards per game for a 2000 yard season.
He's averaging 112.8 yards per game right now.
With his 5.8 YPC, he needs 151 carries to get the 2000 yards, if he kept at the pace he's going.
That would put him at 346 carries, 2nd most carries in a year in his career

It's possible! (but unlikely) - especially with his remaining schedule Chicago x2, GB, St. Lou, Hout, GB. Facing the #1 and #2 rush defense 3 out of the 6 games left.

AP is the most feared running back in the league. Because of things like this:

And he's no slow footed stiff either, he's has "take it to the house" speed along with that power too. 13 runs of 20 + yards already is insane and he's one of the best at moving the chains. As of right now, it's not even close who's the best.

I've been really impressed with the Steelers 3rd RB Jonathan Dwyer this year, every chance he gets he makes the most of. Would really really love it for us to look at this guy this off season. Steelers have several RB's coming up on free agency, highly doubt they keep them all.
