Rapid Reaction: Colts 31, Ravens 3

Posted by ESPN.com's Paul Kuharsky We had a big discussion this week on the AFC South Blog about whether the Colts were a broken team or if last week's last-minute win in Houston suggested instead that they were on the rebound.
With their dismantling of Baltimore this afternoon, they offered resounding evidence for the rebound side of the argument.
The Colts got back on script, finding big pass plays and grabbing an early lead. Things couldn't have gone better, because the Ravens, built around a defense and a run game and operated by a rookie quarterback, are ill-equipped to mount any sort of big comeback.
I thought it was significant early, before things had begun to go the Colts way, that they handled some adversity.
After their first takeaway put them on the porch, Ravens safety Ed Reed made a great play to break up a perfect pass from Peyton Manning for Reggie Wayne in the middle of the field just across the goal line.
Manning got sacked by a blitzing Ray Lewis and the Colts wound up with no points. That could have been the beginning of the Ravens putting their stamp on the game.
But it wasn't long before Marvin Harrison started abusing Chris McAlister - the first time for a 67-yard TD -- and the Colts proved more than able to assert their control.
They'd scored only 20 points in the first quarter through their first four games. They had 17 before the end of the period today, effectively ending things in the first 15 minutes.
