RB Brown Ready to Move On

    I remember hearing when that was discussed last year that we'd get better compensation from just letting him go this year than any team would be willing to give us for him

    As usual, hindsight is 20/20. We would've looked smarter to have dealt him for something, anything at all, last offseason when he requested a trade.

    At that time, though, we had Travis Henry who had shown some flashes the prior year but hadn't been consistent, not to mention the drug stuff. Behind him was Lendale who was out of shape, injured and spitting on folks. Certainly neither of those guys was a sure bet.

    I think we needed Brown for insurance last season and since none of the 3 RBs were costing us much it made the most sense to keep them all even if we had to deactivate one for most games.

    The most couragous thing crisBrown has ever done in his Titan career is to show up to his weekly radio show after being deactivated most weeks. I bet they had to ice down his throat during commercials.

    In all seriousness though, I wish Chris all the best. Yeah, he had his problems with injuries, but he is definitely a talented dude that could flourish if put in the right system.
