How's everybody feeling about our backfield for next year? I'm worried about Murray slowing down or getting hurt. With such a deep class at the position I would hope we draft a guy on day 3 that could complement Murray/Henry. We don't want Andrews as our 3rd back.

Maybe a home run hitter like Stanley "Boom" Williams from Kentucky. We could probally land him on day 3 and cut Andrews.

I agree completely, I think Henry will be a stud but will need a speed guy to complement him. Boom Williams ran for over 2,500 yards in 3 years at KY averaging 6.8 yards a carry. I could see him as a guy that gets maybe 10 touches a game after Henry wears the defense down.

We have 1 really good back that's aging and 1 up and coming young back. Henry is going to be a really good back, imo, but i think we need a complimentary back to pair with him. It sounds crazy (i know), but i really want McCaffrey in late round 1 or early round 2. This guy is special and make plays in so many ways. He is the perfect compliment to Henry, can play receiver and is an excellent returner. He can spell henry, play slot and be the kr and pr. Its like we get a better version of prime wright, a better version of prime mariani and a good back, all with one pick. We need d really really bad, but this dude is special and worth the pick, imo.

    we fine

even if murray slows down over next 2 years he will still be valuable for his receiving and blocking skills. henry seems like the future.

Don't see why Murray can't continue to fill the 3rd down rb role for us for the next 2+ years. Only issue would be contract...

We have lots of time to find a mid-round RB. I wouldn't put an emphasis on finding one in this draft

Kareem Hunt from Toledo I like a lot. Mid to late rounder.

It sounds crazy but if Fournette runs a 4.3 like some project, I wouldn't be mad if we drafted him. Regardless tho we definitely could use a later round running back to groom.
