St. Louis Rams' offense could be like Saints', COO says

Rams chief operating officer Kevin Demoff, during an online chat with fans, said he expects quarterback Sam Bradford to spread the wealth.

"I think you could see this offense resemble an offense like the Saints, where you have four or five players catch 40 to 50 balls, but nobody who catches 70 or 80," Demoff said, per a Sunday post on TurfShowTimes.com. "I'm not saying that we are the Saints' offense, we need to improve to become that, but more that style where anybody can be a threat on any play."

Ummm has Demoff checked to see who was coaching his team? Jeff Fisher a coach known to be conservative and loves to run the ball and then run it some more. You know run, run, pass which is what Fisher had the offense doing most of his time in Tennessee.Between just Eddie George & Chris Johnson together Fisher had those to ground out close to 15,000 yards during his tenure here.In the decade and a half he was coaching here there were only five seasons where a QB went over 3,000 yards passing and the most TD's a QB has thrown in one season was 24 while he was coaching. His QB's on average would get around 2,500 yards passing and maybe around 15 TD's passing in a regular season. Now they are saying he is going to have an offense that resembles New Orleans or even Green Bay but it would mean him breaking from some strong traditions in his coaching.

    Maybe it could be.

Too bad squashing potential is one of Fishers most defined qualities.

"3rd and 8? Draw"- Title of Jeff Fisher biography.

Another thing i'll argue about until the cows come home is Billy Volek would've been a much better option at QB than Kerry Collins.I think had things worked out differently Volek might've worked out way better backing up VY than Collins.Sure Volek wanted a shot at being starter but he was talented and had potential. He threw for more yards than any other QB in history during that stretch of games plus after leaving here he lead San Diego to victory on the road at Indy so there is no doubt he could play.
