Kuechly had 2.5 sacks and 7 INTs in 3 years at BC
Mosley has 5 INTs and 6.5 sacks in 4 years at Bama

Kuechly didn't make any "plays" in college either, but seems to be doing just fine in the pros. Mosley reminds me alot of Kuechly as a prospect.

The injuries do scare me though.

Yeah, okay....Those numbers are close so I am with you on that one..I didn't know he and Keuchly were that close...That being said, the injuries bother me, but I wouldn't be upset if they drafted him. They need a Captain on D in the middle. Every successful team has one...Our ILB's are very bad...

Kuechly was a better prospect, but Mosley isn't that far behind. He has all the tools and abilities to be AS good as Kuechly. I just don't see any other ILBs in this draft that wow me. I like Skov, but i'm not taking him at our 2nd and he'll be gone by our 4th. Same with Yawin Smallwood. Lamin Barrow might be a decent mid-round pick also.

I agree...I honestly think they need to roll Mosley or hold off until late, FA, or next year. Mosley is the only walk on impact guy I see at that position as of right now.

Kuechly did that with zero supporting cast and had no injury concerns. Mosley had a bunch of space eaters in front of him to keep him clean a lot of the time. Kuechly's lowest tackle total in college was 158 as a freshman which is more than any of Mosley's seasons by 50. Kuechly's junior year he almost had as many tackles as Mosley did his junior and senior year. 191 vs. 215. Mosley couldn't hold Kuechly's jock.

Comparing Mosley's last three seasons vs Kuechly he loses every category except sacks. TFL 35.5 vs. 21.5, 7 int vs. 3, 532 vs. 252 tackles, 17 PD vs. 12 PD. I haven't seen Mosley be this incredible cover guy since he was a nickel backer as a freshman.
