Reese article on GM/coach relationships

Not a big deal. He's done as a GM and we don't have to worry about him anymore.

 

He has no idea how that relationship worked, he's more familiar with Indy.

 

Well he is gone now.

 

Sure bash reese. From 1995 to 2002 he brought a stud player to this team every single year. In some years more than one. Reese is the main reason why we had that nice run..

 

then he ran out of magic pixie dust and had entire drafts without a single viable starter.

 

Only the 03 draft was a major failure. He drafted 3 d-linemen in 04 who all signed major contracts as Fa this year. What about finnegan, fuller, stewart, roos, lendale, scaife? What about free agent signings like hope, thornton and mawae?

Reese had his faults but people talk about him today like he was a terrible GM. At least he never used a 2nd rd pick on a RB and came back the next year and drafted one in rd 1.

 

reese had his days...that's really all I can say about him. He did some really good things, and he did some REALLY REALLY stupid things. Am I glad he's gone? Yes. Am I happy with his replacement? NO.

 

Reese kills Mike Reinfeldt when it comes to being a GM. Kills him. It's like Asafa Powell vs Tank Johnson in a foot race.
