I didn't get to hear it all but Reese was interviewed yesterday afternoon.

He said that, in total, he's negotiated with Cook on the McNair deal maybe a total of two hours and little has changed since the beginning. He doesn't believe anything happens until the ruling is made. He said the Titans still think McNair gives the team the best chance to win in '06 and also thinks McNair would like to stay.

He didn't sound like he was in any hurry to get anything done. I get the vibe he'd like to start some serious talk after June OTAs and maybe ride it into July if need be.

He also said as time wears on, the Titans are less likely to look at Law or any other FA CB. He said they liked what they were seeing so far with who they have. He even implied that Law might not be good for the locker room.

    TWO HOURS?? THAT'S IT??
We've gotten all worked up over two hours?? It takes that long just to read a BrianvsWU thread here.

Okay, sure, we're just killing time here, but it's a little like CNN 24/7 analysis of Cheney's lunch menu.
