    At the risk of this needing to be tossed in the rumor area, I've been told more than once the Titans didn't use the same methods to research the background and character of Jones as most teams did. They relied on TE
    Coach George Henshaw who had a son playing at WV who endorsed Jones.

    Some of Jones' skeletons were exposed but nothing to the level other teams received via more through sources.

    I understood that a lot of the decision was based on Fish saying he could work with him and probably turn him around. Sure looks like he's done a great job so far :sarcasm:

    Apparently Reese and the coaches were duped by West Virginia comments about Jones. Still, even with some of Pacman's past it might be hard to predict just how bad this kid would turn out.

    I wonder if the WV people were giving glowing reports on Chris Henry as well.
