No brainer..

What team is not worse off without their best corner? And an elite return man as well. That is a no brainer.

The issue at hand is if our GM did a good job under the circumstances. Yes! Signing both harper and herndon was about as good as we could do. we also drafted a corner late.

Clements-We offered the guy a boat load of money but the 49ers offered a little more. Clements is stupid because where a million dollars can buy you a palace in brentwood here it won't get you much more than a bungaloo next to a crack house in the bay area. The cost of living is much higher there and clements will be coughing up about 5% of his income in state taxes there where there are no income taxes here.

Stallworth-we offered him a better deal than we gave givens the year before. He also was stupid taking less to play in an area with a much higher tax rate and cost of living.

Johnson-We offered him a 2 year $8M deal. His ego rather than common sense told him that wasn't enough so now he will be on espn.

I'm glad we didn't get stallworth because i think he is over rated. Clements would have been a great addition no doubt. Darn!

I agree about Stallworth, I don't know why so many were gaga over him. Maybe the U of Tenn connection?

We didn't sign stallworth and we didn't draft meachem. Probaly the same guys demanding that we draft Kelly washington in 03.

Our new Wrs will be excellent. Give them a chance i think we got great value for all of them.

 

Add those players on with Finnegan,Lowry,Tulloch and Nickey(if he's not cut) and the possibility of LT back on ST's...We have a deadly ST's coverage unit...
