Reinfeldt Thinks Britt Deal Close

    SUMMARY: The opening day of Titans training camp came and went without first-round pick Kenny Britt. Titans GM Mike Reinfeldt says a deal is close as head coach Jeff Fisher did Thursday. "We’ve had discussions and we’ll continue to do so. I think we have a chance for (Britt to be in the field Saturday)," Reinfeldt said. "We are optimistic we’ll get it done fairly soon. Hopefully we will have good news for you soon." According to Reinfeldt, dealfor the 29th and 31st picks sandwiching Britt are close to being finalized. When those deals are completed, it should help the Titans find the right price tag for Britt.

    he will do nothing this year. All he has done so far is sit out with a bad hamstring and miss the first day of camp because of a contract. Not the way Titans or fans wanted this going down. I still say I'd be blown away if he gets 20 catches all year.

    and that is why we signed Washington. You don't put all your eggs in a rookie wide receiver's basket. I just hope hawk can take off this year.
