Rick Gosselin's Mock Draft is Out

    This isn't a bad quarterback class. There's just no A+ guy at the top like usual. There are a bunch of B+ guys (more than usual). There are also a ton of teams that need a QB. It's not at all crazy to think that 5 could go in round 1.

    Trust me, this is not that great of a class. I would not consider one of these QBs a blue chip prospect. Sure, there's depth. But, what good is depth for QB needy teams? You want quality. The labor situation is causing over inflation of these QBs.

    I don't see it. My gut tells me the Panthers won't go QB tonight and only Gabbert will be gone when the Titans pick which scares me.

    Either way if the Titans really like Locker they still take him at #8 and IMO most of those QBs Gosselin has getting drafted early end up drafted before our pick in the 2nd round anyway. Teams will either move up or use their 2nd round picks ahead of us. We should still get a quality player at #39. I guess what scares you is we might have a shot at Newton?

    I thought it was interesting that he has Miller going to the Broncos who will be playing a 4-3 this year under John Fox. I don't see that.

    TJ, I totally agree. I think the Panthers take Peterson with the 1st pick and see if Clausen can develop. If he can't then they go QB next yr when the cost won't be so high because a rookie cap will be in place.

    If Newton doesn't go 1st it will really make things exciting.

    For the Titans standpoint I hope that both Newton and Gabbert are off the board before our pick.

    Is this the same Rick Gosselin who had the redskins taking Clausen 4th last year? About the only pick he had right was Bradford to the Rams. He even had the Lions taking McCoy ahead of Suh.

    Duece Wayne could do a mock that well.
