Ringer needed two surgeries for elbow infection

    Why would we cut him? His salary is guaranteed for the year anyway. That's why we have IR. It opens a roster spot and Ringer can compete again next season.

    Forgot about IR. But IR is too much. He should be fine in a few weeks.

    It's an important few weeks. He's not a starter at a position we already have too many. I would consider IR. Maybe we can get someone decent for special teams and you never know; we found Tony Brown in the middle of the season.
