Kevin Kolb leads his receiver into a defender. DeSean Jackson has both feet on the ground. Robinson hits him in the chest, not the head.

I don't see how the league can eliminate this type of hit without the game suffering.

It's the quarterback's responsibility to not get his receiver killed, not the defender's.

The defender leads with his head and there is helmet-to-helmet contact. This is why DJ is laying unconscious on the field. It's clear that the league doesn't want this type of hitting and as a fan I'm good with that.

Of course he did, that's what you're supposed to do. You see what you hit. You tackle with your facemack.
Kevin Kolb shouldn't have lead Jackson into a defender standing there watching him in zone coverage.

There is no helmet-to-helmet contact. Robinson hits him in the shoulder. The thing that gives Jackson the concussion is the whiplash motion. It doesn't take direct contact to the head to knock your brain around in your skull.

The NFL has to understand that not every concussion is a penalty.

No Kolb, shouldn't have - but that has nothing to do with leading with the helmet - and there is helmet-to-helmet contact.

The thing is, it's as if they are saying Dunta wanted to lead with his helmet. I think it was incidental, as are most helmet to helmet collisions. Players make shoulder tackles. Your head is between your shoulders. It's going to happen from time to time.

How much of this is a result of maybe not wearing a mouthpiece, or strapping up a chin strap? Seriously.

You wear a mouthpiece to absorb the shock, you use the chinstrap correctly to allow the helmet to do its thing..

No, there really isn't. Jackson's shoulder goes back and his head goes forward(35 seconds).

Most guys don't wear the right sized helmet in the NFL.

Think about how many of us played high school football. Remember how hard it was to put on and take off your helmet? You had to pull the ear holes out just to put it on so it didn't rip your ears off. How often do you see a guy's helmet just come off with little contact on Sundays?
