    from ESPN.com:

"I have been watching playoff basketball since I was 4 … yet I can't remember an entire arena of fans screaming, "Noooooooooooooooooooooo!" at the top of their lungs as one of their players lined up a crucial playoff shot before. It sounded as if Artest had suddenly grabbed Jack Nicholson from the stands and held a gun to his head"

I miss Ariza... but he hasn't done much since being traded. Could have used him coming off the bench, for sure.

Oh- one day later... Artest gets in trouble for being tardy. Dude's a moron, for sure. lol

ariza just fit into what the lakers did so well. he created a niche for himself offensively and was a good individual defender.

ron artest can't make a jump shot to save his life, has horrible ball handling skills so driving to the basket is out of the question and can't guard like he did earlier in his career. really all he's good for now is a funny post-game quote every now and then.

From the Rockets perspective, I think Ariza is less of a player than Artest. Artest is a madman. I assure you that. But he's still the better player because Artest makes things happen on the court with pure physical talent. He's a difference maker. Ariza is like a mouse. He has not demonstrated an ounce of leadership. I'm not going to say that I would want Artest on my team, because he's a bit of a sideshow, but of the two, I think Artest is at a whole different level than Ariza offensively and defensively. And I think it showed on the game winner. Ariza could not have made that play. Trevor is a nice player, but he does not appear to have next level talent. All you have to do is look at the stats. Trevor is an 8 point and 44% shooter career. And this year he shot just 39%.
