Roos extended

    it's harder to find a dominant LT than it is to find a dominant DT. ideally we sign both to extensions though.

    I agree because LT take longer to develop.

    I think both positions are worthy of the expense of extensions because they represent good longterm value.Tackles on both sides of the ball tend to have long careers & they can be productive cornerstones of a team for a long time.

    The way our D lives or dies by how the front four play.We need Albert.

    Only one thing:
    I don't consider Roos a 'dominant' LT, whereas Haynesworth is a dominant DT.

    Let me rephrase: Haynesworth is a dominant DT when he wants to get paid. Roos is never. Solid? Yeah. Good? Yep. Great? Nope.

    not yet, but he's still ascending, unlike haynesworth, when you never know what you're going to get.

    I remember a time when Roos was considered a reach pick...now he is the third highest paid LT in the league...ahh memories.
