    Wow..didnt know that. I just watched Rudy play and figured he had to be the wannabe.
    OTOH, Angus Young was the little brother...and Stevie Ray Vaughn....soo....

    Angus was the younger, but Mal was the secret weapon. He was the final word on everything ACDC and according to Angus and the other brother, Mal is by far the best guitarist of the three brothers.

    Yeah, I can see Mal as being the master; but I'm more of a fan of rhythm players rather than lead players anyway.

    I annoys the hell out of me when dudes try to play Malcolm stuff with pointy guitars and distortion pedals. THAT'S NOT HOW IT WORKS.

    I use essentially the same guitar/rig as Mal and play relatively choppy like him -
    Duo Jet (TV Jones Filtertron) straight into 10ow 59SLP. I jump the channels where I see Mal doesn't appear to - but he plays with everything pinned on a large stage. I had the amp Brownsounded to be able to get the drive I needed at a local stage vol.. but it's still very difficult to match his sound. There is some serious magic there..
