Russ Grimm

Ben Jones was on Titans on 2 and had nothing but good things to say about Grimm. He said how can you not listen to a guy that played in the trenches with a line like the Redskins had? When he speaks you listen.

 

Agreed.

 

When scouts said Warmack had huge upside, I think they meant backside. World of difference.

 

JR and Grimm are both to thank on the OL improvement. Kelly went in and didn't miss a beat. Not only is the OL excelling, but they have depth for when there's injuries.

I was really worried about health when I saw how late our bye was this year. But it looks like the timing will be great.

 

I'm still baffled by Warmack. I think the dude has talent and a decent work ethic. I think his professional growth was severely stunted with Bruce Matthews, then that high school coach buddy. I wish Warmack could have had a full season (or two) under a quality OL coach like Grimm before we give up on him.

 

Lewan Conklin Ben Jones just make is so easy to find serviceable guards. All three are solid every game and have yet to really get beat consistently. All three are also young and will be here for 4 years. This is a huge boon for us going forward.
