Ruston's contract expires!!

just read that article, and yeah, my thought was, theres no way they give him a new contract. no way. Only thing they can do is "Titan Up" and do the opposite of what logic states, which would be to give him a new contract with a raise and more power.

 

Well they did try to give munchak a raise when he sucked. i expect them to do the same with webster.

 

I think they would have already renewed his contract if they had any intentions of keeping him. Don't teams typically negotiate an extension for personnel that they intend to keep before their contract expires?

 

I wouldn't be so sure this organization wouldn't give him a new contract.

 

If a sell is close, a contract on a guy you basically have the numbers for makes sense.

Meh.

All we got from booting Munchak was Mariota and two years of unwatchable football.

Munchak wasn't a good coach, but he was only a head coach for three years, and quite frankly he probably has us in the playoffs these past two years since he could actually win the games he was supposed to (unless the team hadn't won a game yet apparently).

Glad we got Mariota though, so there is that.

 

We need to do like the Clippers did with DeAndre Jordan and crash his place and hang out until someone else signs.
