QB in the 5th is almost pointless.. those are usually your bottom feeder qb's. Waiting for the "tom brady from round 6 says hai!"

 

I'm cool with round 4..no later. I really like Aaron Murray.

I dont think we take QB in the first 2 rounds. If we are able to deal for a 3rd round pick, I wouldnt have an issue with QB there or later. Would probably prefer RB in 3 and QB in 4 if we take one. For those saying Whitehurst is a 3rd QB, all I know to tell you is... he is not a 3 at his price. Just sayin.

I see a lot of people on saying they "want" to see locker be successful, because of this and that. From what he's shown us since day one do you actually think he can be the guy. I like the guy and want him to be the guy, just don't see it. If we don't take a qb early we are tanking the season and whiz and co are buying an extra year. Locker has not been unlucky he gets hurt, all the time since freaking high school.

This is the dumbest logic. Fitzy is 2X the Qb Whitrehurst is. Who gives a f*ck about knowing the system. They have the entire off season to learn that.

20 point difference in career passing rating and both Qbs are the same age.

 

82 career passing rating vs 64.

2599 career pass attempts vs 155. Whitehurst is 31 years old and has hardly played!

Talk about showing your hand. It's obvious now that we will be drafting a Qb with that 11th pick.

And stop saying we are saving money. Whitehurst is a $2M cap hitr the next 2 years and potentially more. we still have the hit from Fitzy's SB last year which is a total waste.
