Don't let that list fool you. We have a number of UFAs on the roster right now and that number will dwindle quickly once the Titans sign those they want to keep long-term.

Still, the Titans should be a player in free agency. I expect one or two quality signings. Probably at WR and TE (if anyone is worthy).

Here's a good article about FA WRs. It's a pretty weak crop but Berrian, Crayton, Johnson, and Carter would be good options as a #2. Roydell Williams could be our #1 and Gage or B. Jones (assuming he doesn't go the Tyrone Calico route) could be a slot WR.

What do you all think of LJ Smith? I don't know much about him but I know we definitely need a TE. I'm a bit learly of him with his injury history this season.

I think Sciafe will be a starting caliber TE for us. I'd be more concerned with the WRs and adding depth to the safety positions.

I think Jacob Tamme is exactly what we need. He's a big target and will catch anything thrown in his direction. He'd be a nice security blanket for Vince, just like Frank was for Steve. And for what it's worth, he's a great guy and would be a fan favorite from day 1.

Devery Henderson and D.J. Hackett would be nice additions.

I think we would have to overpay for either of those guys--I am still in favor of trading for a receiver if at all possible/

There is also a couple of good RB's available like Turner and J. Jones.

There will be a big bidding war for Turner... the titans are too smart to overpay for a guy like him. I could see the Titans signing J. Jones to serve as a complememtn to LenDoughnut (especially if Chris Brown leaves). Buit I bet the Titans will just keep Brown and not sign anyone else.

I agree that they probably won't make a run at Turner. I think he will get big dollars an I don't think we will be the one paying them. I think our brass feels that we have spent 2nd round picks for two straight years, and that one of the two (or a combination of the two) will pay off. I think we give another year to the two or three headed backfield and see how it goes.
