I love how ridiculous you get when you disagree with someone.

Neal had nothing to do with the Ravens success... YEAH RIGHT! What sport are you watching!

Neal was very important in keeping their backfield fresh and in blocking. Are you suggesting that stuff is meaningless?

YES, with extra available cap space... WHY NOT sign 1-year contract players to our team, even if we have little use for them? Give me a good reason why we shouldn't do that? You'd rather they play for our rivals?

I love Lorenzo Neal, but I can't see how he could possibly play effective football anymore.

When Neal left San Diego, Tomlinson became just another running back. When Neal left the Titans, we weren't the same. When Neal left the Bengals, Corey Dillon became a near joke... this is the only thing that makes me consider signing him to a 1-year deal.

His age outweighs the pros, however.

i love neil....and if no1 signs him..y not...for the right price. nevertheless, obvious bordom has stuck the site as we already have a really good FB.

hall is a beast....he's thrown some CRUSHING blocks (needs to catch better and hold on to the ball better too...somethin to work on). thing is he's old (29) for some1 whos been in the league for only 3 years. but he's still got 4/5 years of solid (and if he keeps moving in this direction..elite) play left in him.......

the only question...is who will Hall jack up next??...

Zero, but I fail to see what that has to do with anything.

Finnegan's play kinda went on the decline towards the end of the season, and before that he had AH and a good pass rush to help him out. Should be interesting to see how he fares this year

Based on this analysis neal is primarily responsible for the ravens success.

  10. Ok, you say his performance went on the decline, but can you point to why? I don't think it was because he was getting beat or couldn't hack it, I think it was because they quite throwing to his side of the field as much.

Lets remember, you can be seen as great as long as you have opportunities to be great. Once those opportunities stop coming your way, then people start wondering why your not getting the interceptions you once did and start wondering why your performance is slipping.

It could also be that the pass rush became more effective so the long plays didn't have time to develop or that Finn was just blanketing his receiver so well that no QB would have chanced it. There is a reason ocho cinco was impressed by him and why he frustraighted the crap out of mason and some of the other good WR's in the league. There were a few of them that actually voted for him to go to the pro bowl.
