Seahawks sign Mike Wahle? How?

    How can they? Free Agency hasn't started yet. I thought you could only resign or cut your own players until the end of February?

    Because he was cut by the Panthers he is no longer under contract while players who will become free agents are under contract with their current team until the start of the free agency period, which does nothing but prevent other teams from talking to them.
