    Peace out Yanq!

I couldn't find good info on STDs by region of the united states with a quick search, so I'll just trust your firsthand knowledge.

I can pull out random statistics from Wikipedia too.

the majority of the lowest income counties are in the south.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_lowest-income_counties_in_the_United_States

So what does that prove? Nothing because it has nothing to do with region, which was my original argument. You're a smart guy, I really thought you'd be able to understand the difference between isolated places and an entire region.

Southern pride blinds a perfectly intelligent person once again.

Here's what you should be looking at for my original argument.

    The South is unfortunately growing.
"The South accounted for more than 4 in 10 (44%) of new AIDS diagnoses in 2010 and has the greatest number of people estimated to be living with AIDS, followed by the Northeast, West and Midwest."

That's a totally rational argument. Why in the world did I never consider that? Oh, that's right, because I'll be entering my last semester this summer and couldn't afford to pay out of state tuition to begin with.

Thanks for your help though. I really appreciate everything you brought to this thread. Your input is invaluable.

Then quick whining! Oh no! the stupid South with it's dumb education system blah blah blah. You are getting an education from one of our fine southern universities and all you can do is whine and say how awful it is down here. Forget your last semester and transfer somewhere else. We don't need you here!

    Talk about whining...

Again, you guys getting your panties in a bunch over one sentence when all I did was throw out some facts. I'm sorry the truth hurts your feelings so much.

And don't act like the fine southern university I attend is doing me a favor, I pay them.
