no suprise here. The big ten sucks. It is completely fallen from grace.

SEC does everything but QBs well.

SEC will have the best QBs next year also. The Heisman winner was an sec QB.

It's not just a hatred or jealousy toward a football conference it is hatred toward all southerners and particularly southern blacks.

This is far worse than just football banter this is hatred and bigotry of the highest order.

Don't need taboo to see the obvious.

Right now some of the best football talent is coming out of the South. Yeah you have your usual power house high school programs in California and a few other spots around the country but with Louisiana, Georgia, and of course Florida these SEC schools are easily getting some of the top talent just from region alone. Then factor some other states that have more talent than they did like 10 years ago like Alabama, MIssissippi, and even Arkansas now. With all these really great/good coaches in the conference and this current streak the players in the South want to stay close to home and still win so this becomes a perfect storm. If any conference wants to put an end to the SEC reign that have to start recruiting southern players more effectively.

That's why FSU has done so well lately, they've been able to pluck recruits out of other states more than ever and not having to rely on just Florida like they usually do. They just haven't translated this to big wins yet but they're getting close.

Uconn was never any good til they started recruiting out of Florida. Since then Uconn has become a respectable football school. Chris Johnson almost ended up there. But I think Texas is still the main state NFL players come from. I bet if someone looked into it theyd find nearly half the league originates from Texas.
