    No, I'm saying 90% of the time they don't throw to the optimal reciever.

    I didn't say it was man coverage, I said he was 1-on-1 with the safety, meaning there was only 1 guy covering. When I say it was underthrown I meant that the perfect pass would have lead the receiver, this one was basically right on him, allowing Griffin to dive in front of the receiver. Bad pass yes, but good choice. Had he lead the receiver it was an easy 6.

    If that throw had been dead on they would never have even mentioned the open receiver in the flat. Second guessing is what commentators do best and hinsight is 20/20 and all that.
