Anyone watching? Ansah looking good in the game after a questionable week at practice. Wilson looked decent at QB. Nassib sucks. Rambo made a play. Robbie rouse looks like a good day three rb.
Well Landry jones still scared of ghosts in the pocket. Dysert looked ridiculous. Ansah continues to impress. Maybe more of a run stopper than pass rusher at this point tho.
Not impressed at all with Khaseem Greene out of Rutgers. Too many missed tackles. EJ Manuel looked impressive but if he played the whole game I'm sure he'd show off his impressive inconsistency problem. Ziggy Ansah looks like a beast in the run game and looks destined to be a Giant (JPP and Tuck will be the main pass rushers until he develops as a PR). Nico Johnson looks pretty decent in coverage.. better than expected. Bacarri Rambo is a stud IMO and only doing what he always does IMO. Xavier Gooden reminds me of a poor man's Zach Brown.
I was hoping to see Brandon Williams, the nose tackle out of Missouri State. Haven't seen him at all.
Larry Warford the right guard from Kentucky is looking very impressive. VERY IMPRESSIVE. Kawann Short is getting in the backfield with great penetration. Brandon Williams isn't getting an upfield push, but he is not being moved (off of the line of scrimmage). He looks like a 1-technique.
I missed it can someone fill me in a bit? Sounds like if we don't get Star then to wait till 3rd or later for a DT.
Maybe Short in the second, but yeah pretty much. None of the second tier of DE's' really impressed, probably better to grab one early. SS and CB is a deep class. OG as well lot of good mid round prospects. WR is loaded with mid-round talent
Yea star or bust for DT. No one really showed up in the game. Ansah is basically a gamer and uses his athletics to do really good against the run, still a work in progress for pass rush. Okafore is a bull rush guy only. CB is pretty deep. As well as safety. O line seems to have good talent into the third round.
