The coaches who came aboard last yr - WR Shawn Jefferson, RBs coach Sylvester Croom - were safe & had yrs left on contract. Now out of job

Shame to see him go. Was one of my favorite assistants.

We need to clean house. Get a totally new feeling on the team. Out with the old in with the new. The new guy can bring in all his friends.

I guess it's to be expected. He's about the only guy I wanted to see remain on our staff.

All Shawn Jefferson did was jump up and down and yell all the time, so I guess that made our WR's great. It obviously didn't work for Britt lol.

I don't think this is 100% confirmed? Wyatt even tweeted after that that Croom will likely stay as RB coach due to his connection to Webster. I hope Jefferson stays also.

They have been let go but he sad they could be rehired. They are now in the pool of assistants that any team can hire.

So, we have had one of the better corp of young receivers this year and they tell Jefferson to hit the bricks?

I guess it was the decent thing to do...to let them at least try to find jobs in this scenario...but Jefferson has to be give some credit for our WRs.

Britt was a fail on his own accord...not because of anything the staff did.

Well I suppose it is the decent thing to do, instead of waiting for the new HC to come in and potentially fire them. Now they have more time and options.

Nothing is confirmed until they've talked with Webster on Monday. It was said after the PC that assistants are technically still under contract.
