    ESPN's Rich Cimini expects the Jets to trade DE Sheldon Richardson this offseason.
    "He'll go back on the trading block in the offseason," Cimini wrote. "This time, they'll get a deal done." The Jets appeared to make their choice when they gave Muhammad Wilkerson a big extension, and that decision was all but confirmed when they tried to move Richardson at the deadline. Richardson brings some off-field headaches, but he is one of the most talented defenders in the league. The Jets might be able to nab a first-round pick this offseason. Richardson is owed just over $8 million next season in the final year of his rookie deal.

    Jets are a mess. Read an article that suggested that Wilkerson is a horrible teammate, horrible person, lazy, etc.

    What a difference a year can make. They were legit last year... till Fitz tanked them.

    Did you listen to the entire clip? I have been saying for weeks we have to get pressure up front to help out our CB's but no one listens. This is exactly what the coaches said in that clip. We have got to get a big push guy that can disrupt. Dodd isn't doing it and neither is Woods. The coaches said Sheldon would be great at this with Dallas. I wouldn't take him, but we need someone like him.

    Dodd and Richardson play completely different positions. Dodd isn't doing it because he's not on the field on most crucial passing downs.

    Robinson is too shrewd to go for him. He'd be a great addition, but defensive linemen get paid top dollar on the open market, and only a few of them are worth it and generally don't get away from the team that has them (Watt, Cox, and don't expect Donald to go anywhere).

    The reason that Dodd isn't getting playing time is because Morgan and Orakpo are playing well....so we trade for Richardson... one of them has to go? Or sit or maybe we sit Richardson and he can be depth with Dodd at 8 million
